Our Story

BLD ROOTS was born out of a desire to help small business owners and entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and establish a thriving online presence. Founded by a couple, Mari and Nikita, who were separated by travel restrictions in two different countries, BLD ROOTS was a way for them to stay connected and make a positive impact on the world.

With a shared passion for entrepreneurship and sustainability, they set out to create a business that would help others achieve their goals and build a better future.

They knew that the pandemic had created unprecedented challenges for small business owners and that many were struggling to adapt to the new realities of remote work and online commerce.
Drawing on their expertise in web development, branding, graphic design, marketing strategy, sustainable business practices, and coaching, Michelle and Nikita created a comprehensive suite of services that would address all aspects of their clients' businesses. They were determined to help their clients not just survive but thrive in the new normal of the post-pandemic world.

Today, BLD ROOTS is a thriving online business consulting agency based in Oakland, California, with clients from all over the world.
